A Gospel-Centered 2016

Sermon Notes

11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)

Happy New Year! It’s not too late to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the life of Jesus, the death of Jesus, the resurrection of Jesus, and the 2nd coming of Jesus! In fact, we will be celebrating the gospel this entire new year (2016)! This morning we will continue our journey through Luke, and I will be sharing a number of new opportunities we will have as a church this new year. We will discuss two new ministries to children we are starting on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday nights, a new youth outreach we are starting on Thursday nights, and a new ministry to men. You will be learning about new Wednesday night opportunities for all. You will also have another opportunity to sign up for the various ways you can serve the church body and the community this next year. Next week you will learn about this semester of small groups (and all the new groups starting), new Christ Fellowship College classes and times, new Sunday morning small groups for adults that will be meeting on campus, and more. Also, don’t forget we are reading through the Bible as a church utilizing the One Year Bible plan: http://oneyearbibleonline.com/.  By God’s grace this is going to be a great year! May Jesus be glorified as we seek to live out gospel-centered lives as a gospel-centered church! See you at 10:30!
